Raingutter Raingutter Rules

These are general rules and speed rules. Violation can mean disqualification from a specific race, from a competition or from the event. In the spirit of Proverbs 19:11, "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.", we will over-look violations unless they affect the outcome of a race or competition.

Note: rules allow Cubbies' foam boats to be wider so they can't turn sideways as much.

Use materials from your foam or balsa kit (deck-o-rations are not in kit).
Other sail materials may be used.
Maximum length: 6 inches
Attach all parts securely to the boat. Maximum width: 2 1/2 inches (3 1/2 for Cubbies)
Contestants may not touch anyone else's boat. Maximum draft: 1 1/4 inches
